Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Purdue University- Main Campus. I joined Teach For America and began my teaching career in 2001. I received my Master’s Degree in Education Counseling from Houston Baptist University. This is my second year as a guidance counselor at Elkins High School. Prior to teaching, I was the proprietor of a commercial media company that worked with several school districts and companies throughout Houston and the surrounding area. I look forward to working with my students to not only assure a productive educational career but also in helping them realize their purpose, so to increase their opportunities for a successful and productive life.
